Powergen Technical Services Pvt. Ltd. is a
multi- disciplinary engineering design & consultancy
organization incorporated in India in 2006. The mother company
started as a power plant engineering design firm in 1999. But have
since diversified into Design, Engineering, Critical problem
solution provider for industries ranging from Ore & Minerals
handling, Steel Making, Power Generation & Switchyards. We use
innovative techniques to improve process efficiency, optimal usage
of space and thus reduce energy consumption. We have expertise for
low quality waste heat utilization and harnessing by-product
wastes to produce heat & electricity to help reduce carbon foot
print of the process. One of our biggest strength is in Electrical
Analytics of Power System, Protection Audit, Electrical Hazard
Identification and Risk Assessment.

We are an Industry 4.0 ready multi-disciplinary Design &
Engineering solutions provider operating since 2006. Our
inter-disciplinary expertise has enabled us to develop
analytical approach for problems we encounter in engineering
design and especially in material failure when in operation so
much so that we have started customer services for Engineering
Analytics (EA) which is now a major revenue earner of the
company. It (EA) is also guiding us to put into shape our
innovative ideas into practice such as develop technologies for
anti-corrosive coatings on steel, Structural Health Monitoring
(SHM) of large steel structures. As part of our continuous path
to development and new thinking we have a separate wing for
building prototypes of some innovative ideas.
With our capabilities in wide spectrum Engineering (Civil, Steel
Structures, Mechanical, Electrical and Control & Instrumentation)
and Planning we have successfully executed various Power, Steel
and other mineral based projects as Design & Engineering
Consultants. Our expertise in this area ranges from Concept to
Commissioning of various types of power plants, switchyards,
mineral processing plants etc. On the Bridge front we design Steel
& Composite structures for River / Railway bridges, ROBs, Viaducts
& flyovers using methods of Limit State Theories to Indian, BS and
Euro codes. In Engineering Analytics, our domain ranges from
Electrical System Studies to Computational Flow Dynamics, Finite
Element Methods (FEM) for analysis of large structures, fluid
dynamics etc. Powergen is successfully using FEM for SHM of Port
Handling Equipment like Garb Ship Unloaders, Stackers &
Reclaimers, Cranes and Steel Bridges. All necessary hardware and
software are designed, built and installed inhouse. Field data
transmission are done by wireless and cloud systems. For real time
and continuous measurement of Deflection in bridge girders, bottom
chords, twist in pylons and booms in cranes & handling equipment
we have developed Laser Photometric Measurement System (LPMS).
